Home made dog food recipe – Chicken Stew

4 chicken breasts, chopped

3 tablespoons tomato paste

1 cup water

4 potatoes, chopped

1/2 pound baby carrots

2 celery stalks, chopped


Place chicken, potatoes, carrots and celery in a large pot, add water and tomato paste simmer over medium heat stirring occasionally for 1 – 1 and 1/2 hours. Take your dogs portion out add seasoning to your portion, feast on a great healthy meal. Really you can turn just about any stew recipe into a healthy dog recipe.


The best type of home made dog food recipe, is something that is going to have a good balance of all the food groups, with emphasis on meats. So things like stews, or hearty soups, are going to be a good bet, also meatloaf is a great thing to share with your dog.
